Description
In our heat, a console suffers fast: after two or three hours of play, the PS5 Slim blows out scorching air and its internal fan starts racing. This cooling unit clips onto the back of the console, against the air vents, and its three fans pull the hot air out faster. The console works in better conditions, especially in a room without air conditioning.
Three fans, no tools. The unit clips straight onto the back of the PS5 Slim, with no screws and no changes to the console, and comes off just as easily.
An extra USB port within reach. It draws power from a rear USB port of the console and offers a USB port on its side, easier to reach to charge the controller or plug in a headset.
Blue lighting. A button turns the unit on or off, and its blue LEDs light up the back of the console: a nice touch in a gaming corner.
Pick the right model. It is made for the PS5 Slim. For the larger original PS5, a dedicated version is also in the shop.
Good habit: leave at least 10cm of free space behind and around the console, and dust the fan grilles every month: a clogged fan cools far less well.
