Description
A power strip on the floor means tangled cables, dust, a foot that trips over it and, when you clean, water getting close to the sockets. This small mount lifts it onto the wall, under the desk or on the side of the bedside table: chargers stay within reach and the floor stays clear.
Two parts that slot together. One plate sticks to the back of the power strip, the other to the wall or the furniture. Slide the power strip onto its mount and it stays in place; it comes off in one move to move it or to clean.
No drilling, no tools. No hole in the wall and no screws: the mount holds with its double-sided adhesive. Handy when renting, and on tiles as on wooden furniture.
For most power strips. The back of the power strip just needs to be flat and at least as wide as the plate. It also takes a small, light box such as a router.
Good habit: clean and dry the surface well, press firmly for about thirty seconds, then wait a few hours before hanging the power strip: the adhesive then reaches full strength. Avoid wallpaper and flaking paint.
