Description
The RE315 plugs into a socket halfway from the router. Its signal light shows whether the spot is right, so it does not end up too far away, where there is nothing left to repeat. It then spreads Wi-Fi on two bands, and Adaptive Path Selection picks the fastest link back to the router.
Paired with a OneMesh-compatible TP-Link router, it forms a mesh network: phones move from router to extender without switching networks as you walk through the house. It also works as an access point, and its 10/100Mbps Ethernet port takes a cable. Set-up from the Tether app or the web interface. European plug version. New, sealed.
