High-end Galaxy phones, the Plus and Ultra models, can charge at 45W, but only with the right charger and the right cable. This genuine Samsung charger, supplied with its 5A USB-C cable, unlocks Super Fast Charging 2.0, the fastest these phones offer. When the power comes back after an outage, every minute of charging counts.
Galaxy Super Fast Charging 2.0. With the supplied 5A cable, it delivers up to 45W to compatible Galaxy phones: S20 Ultra, Note10+, S22+ and S22 Ultra, then the Plus and Ultra models of the following generations up to the S25+ and S25 Ultra, the Galaxy A56 and A36, and several Galaxy Tab S tablets. Other Galaxy phones charge at their own top speed, often 25W.
The cable matters as much as the charger. 45W charging only runs through a 5A USB-C cable like the one supplied. With an ordinary 3A cable, the phone is limited to 25W: so keep this cable with the charger.
Beyond the phone. It follows the USB Power Delivery standard: it also charges iPads and tablets, iPhone 15 and later, a Nintendo Switch, and even a USB-C laptop that accepts 45W, at its own pace.
Two plug versions. The European plug version (2 round pins) fits Cameroonian wall sockets directly. The other comes from the UK market (3 flat pins) or the Chinese market (2 flat pins), depending on the unit: it needs a sturdy plug adapter, not included, pushed firmly into the wall socket. A real Samsung, not a copy. The Samsung name, the model reference and the safety markings are engraved on the casing. Copies often promise 45W without delivering it; the original is designed and tested for Galaxy batteries.
Good habit: when you are in a hurry, let the phone charge with the screen off, without gaming or watching videos: it charges faster and runs cooler.
