Description
A slow card means a video that stops mid-shoot, a camera flashing “card too slow”, or a phone that lags. This genuine Kodak microSD is rated U3 and V30: it writes at least 30MB/s continuously, the speed 4K video needs. For your phone, tablet, action camera, drone or camera.
V30 class: 4K video without breaks. Action cameras, drones and cameras shooting in 4K write a lot of data every second. The V30 class guarantees at least 30MB/s of sustained writing: recording does not cut out mid-scene.
A1 class: apps that open fast. On Android phones and tablets that allow it, the A1 class lets you install apps on the card without them lagging when they open. Photos, WhatsApp videos and music fit on it too, freeing up your phone’s memory.
Which capacity? 32GB for photos, music and documents; 64GB to film regularly; 128GB to shoot plenty of 4K or keep years of photos. The 64 and 128GB cards are microSDXC: check that your device accepts them, as some older devices stop at 32GB.
SD adapter included. Slipped into the adapter, the card fits a camera, a laptop or a card reader, to transfer your photos and videos.
Good habit: format the card in the device that will use it (camera, drone or phone) before your first shoot: it is then organised the way the device expects, and recording errors become rarer.
