Coffee, tea, smoking and some foods dull the enamel over time. These whitening strips go on in seconds, with no device or tray: carry on with your day during the session, then peel them off.

One session, one sachet. Each sachet holds two strips: one for the upper teeth, one for the lower teeth. So a box of 14 strips makes 7 sessions, a box of 28 strips 14 sessions, and a box of 42 strips 21 sessions.

They stay put, then peel off. As the box says, the strips stay in place during the session and come off easily.

A shade guide to track progress. The supplied shade card lets you compare the colour of your teeth before, during and after the course.

Before you start. Results vary from person to person and with the cause of the stains, and whitening does not work on crowns, veneers or fillings. It is not recommended for under-18s, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or in case of cavities, irritated gums or very sensitive teeth: if in doubt, ask a dentist. Follow the wearing time stated on the packaging.

Good habit: dry your teeth with a clean tissue before placing the strip: it sticks better. Then avoid coffee, tea and coloured drinks for a few hours.
